I will be at the 4th of July celebrations downtown and will have patriotic clothing for the kids (See example below taken on Saturday's portrait Care-Net event). Beautiful Franklin Portraits: I have professional lighting, tools, and skills to take professional portraits. Those who have come to a Portrait Event usually come back as I try to do something different each time. Controlling the lighting and post-processing are the keys to high quality portraits. And best of all they won't cost you an arm and a leg: I do it for charity (donation to Care-Net) and, if you like, can order high quality professional prints at cost through Miller's Lab. I have samples of the papers and textures they offer. An 8x10 is usually around $4.00.

I named the site Beautiful Franklin not only because of the beauty of our town and its scenic surroundings but also after the beautiful people who live here. After a career in the Marines and a shorter career as a teacher, I have now turned to photography. Capturing precious moments of life in fractions of a second. HELP ORGANIZE A PHOTOS FOR FOOD PARTY OR GAME: Having a birthday party, picnic, or big game? Then make it a Photos for Food event to benefit Care-Net. I will take and process images of the event and burn them to CDs for you to print in exchange for a food and personal items donation to Care-Net. You will not only have your usual fun but also be helping your neighbors in need, and...get some nice portraits and photos at the same time. You'll get a lot for little! There was no inquires about the Sports Packages. I will still, however, take, prepare, and burn the photographs to a CD for parents use for a donation of 10 cans of food per player to Care-Net. Our Panthers. A favorite of Beautiful Franklin is to cover Panther Sports in an effort to provide memorible photographs of our young men and women athletes in action. Photos for Charity. Beautiful Franklin will be teaming up thoughout the year with Macon County Recreation Center and other orgnizations to offer portraits on a cd for a donation of food to Care-Net. Your monitor may show the photo a little darker or lighter than it will be in print. Downloads and commercial printing: You can use your printer or use a service such as Walmart, who, for example, requires: A minimum resolution of 540 x 360 for a 4 x 6 print A minimum resolution of 546 x 390 for a 5 x 7 print All of the sites large (not thumbnail image) images are sized at a higher resolution. You can download and burn the image to a cd and take it to Walmart or use the internet at www.walmart.com/photo-center . They will actually print the photos and you can pick them up at our store a few days later.
