My BLOG updated March 8 March 16, 2010 - Raised 583 pounds for the Easter Photoshoot. Next Portraits for Food is Baby Shots and will be at the Party Zone on Sunday, March 28th - The cost? Baby food and formula for Care-Net - at least 15 items but as much as you can. Small donations will be accepted to help pay for the cost of room rental. Any amount over the cost of rental will be used to buy more food. Goal for the Baby Shots is 500 pounds of baby food and formula. I named the site Beautiful Franklin not only because of the beauty of our town and its scenic surroundings but also after the beautiful people who live here. After a 28 year career in the Marines and a shorter career as a Special Education teacher, I have now, in my retirement years (Yea, right), turned to the hobby (Serious) of photography & Always striving to learning something new! HELP ORGANIZE A CARE EVENT: A Care Event is a photographic event when food is donated in exchange for photography services. All food donated is distrubuted by the Care-Network to help our neighbors in need. To help me with an event or to help organize an event just contact me. Its easier then you think!
